From Clients

“When we started working with Lena, it felt like a breath of fresh air entered our lives. She offered us a safe place to land during a very stressful time for our family. Our father’s dementia had started to progress, and my parents’ wish was to live at home together for as long as possible. It had become increasingly difficult for our mom to safely care for our dad when we reached out to Lena for guidance. She helped us set up our parent’s home as safely as possible after identifying our dad’s need for grab bars and later a walker for balance. She educated us about strategies to keep our father actively engaged in activities every day and instructed us in fall prevention. Lena has been a consistent resource for our family, and we are very grateful for her skillful guidance.”

“Lena has been incredibly helpful for our family.  Her deep knowledge of Occupational Therapy allowed her to coach us with the most appropriate bed rails, where to put them on the bed, where to put grab bars and which ones would work best in our situation,  how to deal with stair safety and, just in general, how to allow us to live out our lives in our own home. Lena also supported my husband in her home visits, working with us on activities such as maintaining vocabulary, organizing calendars and coaching me in ways to best help my husband.  If you want to maintain your life at your home and to safely age in place as long as you can, I highly recommend Lena as your Eldercare coach and counselor. You'll be very happy that you did!”
